So here’s the second part of the big Post 400. Once again, with a nod and thanks to Tottyland, I had a small prayer answered today.

I’ve been looking around for more than a year to find out the identity of a swimmer I had a folder on, but no name. It turns out (thanks to a small recent mention of this swimmer in Tottyland) that his name is Travis Nederpelt, an Aussie.

So, for my 400th post, I’d like to dedicate this anniversary to Travis.

I can’t think of another gay blog that has covered swimming lately with such thoroughness and with such beautiful photo galleries as A Cause des Garcons.

Today’s post about the FINA games in Rome is yet another example of the exceptional photo coverage they have devoted to this event. Please go check it out.

PS: Who is making those amazing gold suits the French team is also wearing?

I’ve got better than two dozen posts waiting in the wings, all of them shoutouts to other blogs with great swimming photos. This has been a busy period for speedo lovers in blog-land, clearly.

Kudos to OhLaLa Magazine, once again, for its excellent photo coverage of the FINA games in Rome. They have so many photos, you should just go there and see for yourself. I count six articles on OhLaLa since the games started: here, here, here, here and here, as well as their story about Ricky Berens mentioned in the previous post I did yesterday, and updated today, about him.

Speed o’ Rex has been busy posting a lot of hot swimmers & water polo players the past few months while I’ve been in and out here too often. Just to play catch up, here are some of my fave images he’s posted recently.

Speedo Pictures just turned up on a blog search I did today for other blogs like Wet Speedos.

And, it had two photos of German swimmer Thomas Rupprath I’d never seen before. If that’s not something to recommend a blog, I don’t know what is.

Speedo Pictures has a companion blog, also fairly new, called Tight Suits.

There are also wrestlers, track stars, skaters and buff guys of any stripe who wear clingy athletic gear on Tight Suits. Here are some of their competition swim and water polo photos.

Ben Wildman-Tobriner swam for Stanford until this summer, when he helped Team USA win a gold medal in the 4 x 100 Freestyle Relay on August 11.
