Wet Speedos on the Brain 3
Not Just another NibbleBit Blog
This is a new one on me: Underwater Hockey, or Hockey Subaquatique (or Hockey Sub), as it is referred to in a couple of postings on A Cause des Garcons, a venerable French gay boy blog I’ve read for some time now. I just discovered it was not in Wet Speedo’s blogroll, so now it is. This seemed like as good an opportunity as any to introduce A Cause des Garcons here.
I think the photos from their two postings on this new sport are very intriguing. But — considering my own wonderful but rough experiences playing water polo, where the worst thing that can happen is being pantsed or groined — I’m not sure I want to play a similar game underwater with a snorkle and mask to boot.
A Cause des Garcons also routinely features international swimming stars and competitions, so there is a wealth of both “in gear” and fashion spreads of stars like Michael Phelps, Ryan Lochte and Eamon Sullivan in their blog. It is a wonderful visual and informational resource for swimming fans. Check it out regularly.
