Not Just another NibbleBit Blog
Re-posted from WetSpeedos.blogspot.com:
It seems that Nibblebit had a server failure in November, and it caused some havoc with restoring the various blogs domiciled on their servers. I’ve put in for a restoration of Wet Speedos on the Brain 3. I will let you all know if it can be. [As you can see, it worked.]
Meanwhile, I’ve also noticed that a few things have stabilized in the Blogger world. A huge number of gay blogs remain shuttered by Blogger (http://googlebloggerclosesgayblogs.blogspot.com). But I might just keep this one going here anyway.
I’ve also started a trial blog at Tumblr ( Wet Speedos on the Brain Again: http://wetspeedosonthebrain.tumblr.com/), and am looking at other venues.
My life has become very hectic with personal matters, so I’ve not been able to give blogging any attention in recent months. I appreciate that all of you who follow this blog have hung on and stuck with it. My special thanks to one Canadian follower who has generously assisted in sorting out the Nibblebit issues.
Back with you all soon.
Re-posted from WetSpeedos.blogspot.com:
Just got a comment from a reader that the new Nibblebit site has disappeared. This is apparently true. i just discovered it over the Thanksgiving holidays. It seems I had not given the Nibblebit version of Wet Speedos enough attention, so they wiped it, and I have to start all over again there.
I’ve been trying to decide what to do, and as this blog is still here (fingers crossed), I’ve got perhaps a little time to decide. I’ve had a LOT to do other than blog lately. It’s not been my first, second or third priority. Apologies to you all. I will try to do something about this as soon as possible, certainly this month in any case.
Thank you all for your continued readership and support.
Wet Speedos on the Brain is moving to Nibblebit.com. The new address is http://wetspeedosonthebrain3.nibblebit.com.
I am abandoning Blogger, since they appear to have no loyalty to gay bloggers who have made a home at Blogger and Google for many years. In the past two weeks I have watched numerous wonderful blogs vanish with no warning. So, even though Wet Speedos is not and never has been an adult site (although some people continue to blanch at the thought of a hot butt in wet blue lycra), I am taking no chances.
I have no intention of allowing Google to arbitrarily wipe away two years of work for no reason. And there is a matter of loyalty to friends and blogging colleagues to consider.
So, to all of you who are still on Blogger, I say enough is enough. Toss ‘em overboard. They would do the same to you without thinking. Besides, I like Nibblebits’ WordPress functions. They’re pretty sophisticated.
If you have any doubts about what I’m saying, take a look at this new blog dedicated to following what Google has been up to recently: http://googlebloggerclosesgayblogs.blogspot.com. I think you will be as shocked as I was, and still am.
If you decide you want to stay with Google and Blogger, take the advice of this blogger over at MyDigitalLife.com, and remove your top banner bar on your blog — as I have here. This banner bar contains the “flag” function that appears to have caused so much consternation for so many gay Blogger bloggers lately. Apparently, someone, or some group, with an “agenda” has been repeatedly flagging gay blogs to disrupt our fun, and Google has been falling for the trick.
So, farewell Blogger, hello Nibblebit.com. Thank you loyal readers. Please follow Wet Speedos to it’s new home.
Again, the new address is http://wetspeedosonthebrain3.nibblebit.com.
How about another one I’ve never heard of? I found yet another blog through a photo credit in another White Speedos posting: Gay Softwear. This one has a few more competition images than Speedos4u, but primarily I think Gay Softwear has a very unique navigation and layout structure and a lot of varied content. Interesting.
Just found a new speedos Blogger blog called Speedos4u through a posting on White Speedos.
Not many competition photos yet, but a lot of muscly guys on beaches and posing in gyms as well as fashion guys, etc.
… to http://www.shannonbohphotography.blogspot.com/. I’ve also changed the link under favorite websites.

I know you all must think I fell off the edge of the earth somewhere back in March, so I appreciate the support from a few followers of this blog who know what’s been keeping me busy lately and away from blogging (eldercare for a family member). I will be posting sporadically again over the next couple of weeks while occupied with these personal issues. So I thank you for sticking with Wet Speedos. Sorry once again for the recent lack of posts.
I added a link today in the Swimming Gear section (below, left) to a company I’d not heard of before — Italian manufacturer Jaked — which was referred to in a recent post on Tony Austin’s Southern California Aquatic Club (SCAQ) blog (http://scaq.blogspot.com/). Tony’s SCAQ blog is just a wonderful journal, resource and photo gallery of all things swimming. Here’s the photo from Tony’s posting on Wednesday about the controversies over urethane coated competition suits, including Jaked’s. A few other recent wonderful pix from the SCAQ blog follow.
OOOPS! Sorry guys. This got scheduled before I’d finished putting in the pix. Correction here… smile
Your Daily Briefs and Hot Aussie Famous Males both posted galleries of WetSpeedos postings on Matthew Mitcham images back in November.
Many more blogs have posted about Mitcham recently –
I’ve posted a lot about Mitcham here, and I’ve been afraid of looking like “all Matthew, all the time” (anyone for an all Matthew-all-the-time blog, lemme know…) So, anyway, I chilled it for awhile. But, this month once again his publicity machine is cranking, and these galleries are too good to neglect. These are all from The Advocate’s February cover story on Mitcham.
(See all ten previous WetSpeedos postings on Mitcham here.
Another blog I’ve just started to watch, Age of Man, posted an Aussie guys of summer entry the other day. Here’s one of those pix.
