Re-posted from WetSpeedos.blogspot.com:

Just got a comment from a reader that the new Nibblebit site has disappeared. This is apparently true. i just discovered it over the Thanksgiving holidays. It seems I had not given the Nibblebit version of Wet Speedos enough attention, so they wiped it, and I have to start all over again there.

I’ve been trying to decide what to do, and as this blog is still here (fingers crossed), I’ve got perhaps a little time to decide. I’ve had a LOT to do other than blog lately. It’s not been my first, second or third priority. Apologies to you all. I will try to do something about this as soon as possible, certainly this month in any case.

Thank you all for your continued readership and support.

I found this on Definition of a Man. The wallpaper was made by SexyMaleWallpapers.com.

Another blog I’ve just started to watch, Age of Man, posted an Aussie guys of summer entry the other day. Here’s one of those pix.

Apparently (I’m not sure actually), Blogger may have hidden this blog for a few hours this morning until I turned on the adult content button in my settings. et Voila! It suddenly was visible again. Imagine that.

I received from Blogger no notice, no alert, no email, no warning, no comment, no nada about this, other than the odd fact that the blog became a little unstable last night as I was prepping some posts: a couple of times, a couple of previous posts disappeared when I went to them directly, but they were there when I looked at them by month.

So, as you discovered today if you are reading this, I have put WetSpeedos behind an Adult Content Warning barrier. I have tried very hard to keep this blog general interest and focused on sports, and frankly I’m a little puzzled. Maybe it’s the blogs that I’m following and have linked to. I hadn’t thought of that until now.

In any case, if anyone who reads this blog regularly has any advice or thoughts on this subject, I would sure appreciate them. Leave a comment (I moderate all of them, so if you want to make the comment personal and not published, just tell me in your comment), or email me from my profile.

Thanks to everyone who is following this blog, and to all of you who have supported this blog over the past year & a half with encouragement, mutual link handshakes, personal emails, ideas, photos and comments.

This month, CBS News on Logo interviewed Lifesavers with Pride at the Sydney Gay Mardi Gras. (click on this link to see the video on the Lifesavers with Pride blog.)

This seemed an appropriate moment to revisit Sydney’s out and proud gay lifesavers, who according to this month’s CBS story now number more than 90 trained lifesavers.

WetSpeedos last posted on my discovery of 18-month-old the Lifesavers with Pride blog in March, with this blog’s 100th post.

Here are some photos from a recent DNA Magazine photo shoot with Lifesavers with Pride. Credit goes to the blog aussielicious for the alert on this DNA Magazine coverage. Also, I’m posting a bunch of photos from the Lifesavers with Pride blog.

A second post follows.

A new posting tonight on Your Daily Briefs, an undies and swimwear blog I have been watching but neglected to link with until just now (see updated links list at left), lead me to a new discovery of blissful proportions: Aussiebum has a huge gallery on Flickr.

While most of the galleries (nearly 350 photos) are advertising shots (still beautiful) of Aussiebum’s various swim and undies lines, there are eight pages of newly posted pix of Australian surf carnival athletes all wearing wet Aussiebum cossies. This is one wondrous wonderland of tiny swimsuits on beautiful guys. And we are talking big strapping wet men. Holy Keee-raiste!

Here are some pix gleaned from the first five pages. There truly is an Oz. Amazing.
