Not Just another NibbleBit Blog
I can’t think of another gay blog that has covered swimming lately with such thoroughness and with such beautiful photo galleries as A Cause des Garcons.
Today’s post about the FINA games in Rome is yet another example of the exceptional photo coverage they have devoted to this event. Please go check it out.
PS: Who is making those amazing gold suits the French team is also wearing?
Below the splashier post on Tottyworld this week about Ricky Berens’ mishap in Rome, was a briefer mention of former US diver and now model Justin Wilcock. Nice.
I’ve got better than two dozen posts waiting in the wings, all of them shoutouts to other blogs with great swimming photos. This has been a busy period for speedo lovers in blog-land, clearly.
Kudos to OhLaLa Magazine, once again, for its excellent photo coverage of the FINA games in Rome. They have so many photos, you should just go there and see for yourself. I count six articles on OhLaLa since the games started: here, here, here, here and here, as well as their story about Ricky Berens mentioned in the previous post I did yesterday, and updated today, about him.
Here are some highlight pix from their postings. I may post some more of them later. LOTS to look at and admire. Especially this top photo of a Spanish team swimmer in a GOLD full-body suit. Oh-La-La!
Ricky Berens may have made the news this week with his wardrobe malfunction that everyone has posted about now, but the FINA games in Rome this month have generated a lot more blogging than any aquatic event since the Beijing Olympics a year ago.
Here’s the photos posted on Seb & Feed’s ParisianBoys blog. More about the right hand photo at top in the next posting.

From the Huffington Post:
US Swimmer and Beijing relay gold medalist Ricky Berens tore the back of his swimsuit in a qualifying heat of the 4×100m relay freestyle on Sunday during the World Swimming Championships in Rome. Shortly before stepping up to the starting block, the University of Texas senior leaned down to stretch and his suit tore.“I kind of freaked out for just a second,” Berens said. “I felt like [the hole] was almost down to my knees. I felt like I was putting on a pretty good show.”
He did. And the US qualified for finals and won.
Photos from the HuffPost story follow.

This top image is my favorite of the current batch of swimming/speedo pix in recent circulation. It’s constructed like a classic fine art oil painting. Beautiful. The second one isn’t bad either. Interesting composition. Leave it to the Aussies.

I know, I know. You’d think I had a little bit of a crush now, wouldn’t you?
From Stunning Sexy Guys. Matthew in Rome recently, and Matthew at play with his image, I’d guess. Hmmmm.
