Update (4-10-08): I noticed tonight as I ws about to make another posting that one of the photos (#6) in my last post was not a ‘jammer’ image (he was wearing board shorts; they were just so dark it was hard to tell). I’ve made a modified version of that image, just for fun, and even a wallpaper of it, and substituted those for the originally posted image. No board shorts in this blog!

A new posting tonight on Your Daily Briefs, an undies and swimwear blog I have been watching but neglected to link with until just now (see updated links list at left), lead me to a new discovery of blissful proportions: Aussiebum has a huge gallery on Flickr.

While most of the galleries (nearly 350 photos) are advertising shots (still beautiful) of Aussiebum’s various swim and undies lines, there are eight pages of newly posted pix of Australian surf carnival athletes all wearing wet Aussiebum cossies. This is one wondrous wonderland of tiny swimsuits on beautiful guys. And we are talking big strapping wet men. Holy Keee-raiste!

Swimmers and waterpolo players are part fish and part porpoise and only fractionally human. There is nothing like hanging around in the water for its own sake.. If your fingers aren’t a little wrinkled you haven’t been in long enough.

Awhile ago, I posted a second batch of ‘adjusting’ photos. I just found a really nice photo that belongs with two of the photos in that post. I think I have to do a better job of sorting my favorite pix. This latest addition was in that evidently disorganized folder, too. Sheesh.

Not sure I’ve ever updated a set this quickly, but rather than alter yesterday’s posting any further, here is simply an addition to it, plus a 1680 x 1050 wallpaper.

Like the new images in the last post this morning, I found this image not in its proper folder, but appropriately in my all time faves folder. Imagine that.

You may recognize this first photo not only from many other swim blogs, but from an earlier post I made of favorites. In prepping another ‘best of’ set for Easter, I discovered a large companion image of the same athlete (along with a smaller close-up).

This guy is just a babe. He’s one of the stars in the WetSpeedos sidebar. I’ve been looking for the whole set, knew I had them, but there are so many ways to file any picture (aussies, blue speedos, sidebar pix, surfers), things get a little jumbled sometimes. Whew.

The first of these was posted in an earlier blue speedos mixed set posting. The 1680 x 1050 wallpapers are new.

In response to my query below, a reader informs me that Australia’s William is the photographer. A thanks to that reader. Eight previous posts have featured images taken by Willliam, all of which are tagged with his name and can be accessed by selecting the ‘william’ tag at left.

Note: Someone obviously meant to leave their copyright on at least two of these pix. I’ve seen this font before, but don’t know who the photographer is. Don’t think it’s William or SwimDave. Anyone know or care to claim these, please let me know by email or comment, and let me know if it’s okay to post these, and who deserves credit for these excellent, huge photos.

A number of photos of this very handsome Asian swimmer in blue and orange Asics speedos have appeared lately, including most recently a somewhat mischievous modified version of a close-up shot of him tugging at his suit. I’ve included all of the ones I’ve found so far in this set.

Guess I have some making up to do. It’s been a busy week here….
